Panelist Bios:

Anthony Von der Mull, L.Ac, DAOM, DNBAO, FAIPM

Anthony is a highly respected clinician, educator, and expert witness in acupuncture orthopedics and sports medicine. With over 25 years of experience, he founded AOM Professional and has been teaching Certification in Acupuncture Orthopedics since 2015. Anthony serves as a clinical supervisor at esteemed institutions such as Five Branches University of TCM and the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences, where he imparts his extensive knowledge to aspiring practitioners.

Notably, he is renowned for his expertise as an expert witness for
the California Acupuncture Board and in civil malpractice
litigation. Currently practicing at the Sports Acupuncture
Clinic/Berkeley Bamboo Clinic in Virginia.

Lisa Rohleder, L.Ac., MAcOM

Lisa has been a licensed acupuncturist since 1994. In 2002 she founded the clinic that would become Working Class Acupuncture and piloted what’s now called the community acupuncture model. She also co-founded the POCA Cooperative and the POCA Technical Institute, the only accredited acupuncture school dedicated to training community acupuncturists. She’s currently a faculty member and Co-Executive Director for POCA Tech, and writes a regular newsletter, Acupuncture Can Change the World.

Ashley Hawn, MBA

Ashley Hawn brings over two decades of expertise in medical professional liability claims to her role as the Accounts and Claims/PSRM Operations Lead at MIEC, a medical professional liability insurer based in Oakland, CA. With a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Bates College and an MBA from the University of Oregon.

In her current capacity, Ashley coordinates the MIEC’s Account Collaborative Team (ACT) program and operations for the Claims/PSRM department. Her comprehensive understanding of medical malpractice litigation and professional liability claims is a testament to her proficiency in the industry.
