What is the 2025 MIEC Summit? This complimentary regional seminar series provides a unique opportunity to bring together Physicians, Healthcare Professionals, Practice Managers, and Legal Defense Counsel to learn and network. This year’s Summit will be held at The Royal Hawaiian Resort in Waikiki. Lunch will be provided before diving into afternoon sessions focusing on important topics impacting Hawaiian healthcare. A cocktail reception ‘Meet & Greet’ will follow the Summit’s closing remarks and provide attendees an opportunity to engage with colleagues, defense counsel, and MIEC’s leadership.

What is the MIEC Summit?
A complimentary seminar for physicians, healthcare professionals, practice managers, defense attorneys, & other medical professional liability insurance professionals. The goal of the Summit is to bring together industry professionals to learn, network, & share ideas.
Who can I expect to meet?
Hawaii Physicians, Practice Managers & Medical Professionals, along with Medical Professional Liability Defense Attorneys & other medical professional liability professionals. MIEC staff will be in attendance, including members of our Claims, Patient Safety, Underwriting, and Leadership teams.
Is there a cost to attend?
No, as MIEC hosts the Summit as a complimentary seminar, all tickets are free.
Where is it being held?
The 2025 MIEC Summit will be hosted in the Regency Ballroom at The Royal Hawaiian Resort, Waikiki.
After the Summit, there will be a “Meet & Greet” reception held in The Royal Hawaiian’s Coconut Grove. Join us for drinks & networking from 5:00 – 7:00 PM.
What’s the parking situation?
To minimize the inconvenience of parking at the venue, we have secured $15 parking validations for all Summit attendees at the Royal Hawaiian’s garage. The garage is located on Don Ho Street, Honolulu, HI 96815.
Important Note: The Hotel’s Parking Garage is completely separate from The Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center’s Parking Garage. Our validation is only for the Hotel’s Parking Garage.
To ensure validation eligibility, use the “Hotel Parking” entrance and not the “Royal Hawaiian Center Guest Parking” entrance.
Is there free parking?
Unfortunately there is no free parking for this event. MIEC is offering all attendees that park in the Sheraton Waikiki /Royal Hawaiian Hotel Parking Garage parking validation to secure a $15 rate. To receive your parking validation sticker, please bring your parking garage ticket to the registration table or speak to an MIEC employee during the Summit.
Attendees are welcome to use alternative parking arrangements, but will not be eligible for parking validation through the Summit.
